exerts all possible efforts to fulfill enterprise's social
responsibility.
In 1979, Dong-Won established Dongwon
Education Foundation and awarded a scholarship to the students
in needy (circumstances) and afforded research funds for industrial
and educational cooperation.
And also, Afforded research grant for national physique condition
and awarded and supported for educational development. Besides,
for five times since 1989, Dong-Won hold "The earth love
composition contest" to give visions growing children which
was very welcomed across the country.
On December 6th, 1996, it also constituted "Dongwon Hall"
at the Seoul National University and donated it. And Moreover,
on March 31st, 2000, Dongwon donated 5,000M Won on establishment
of the press college in Korea University as a real sample of
Industrial and Educational cooperation.
In May of 1999, Dongwon and the Nature Conservation Association
(President; Lee In-Kyu) joined a business cooperation ceremony
and donated a fund for the purpose of protecting natural environment
and loving nature.
Dongwon as a first among Enterprises, has supported food amounting
around 200M to feed children going without meal and the old
without dependents since Dongwon interested in food bank business
drove by the ministry of health and social affairs.
Dongwon also created "Dongwon Dreams" which is the
ice hockey team to contribute social materialization thru healthy
and energetic sport. Besides, Youth Soccer game is also backed
up by Dongwon.
